If someone was unable to create good content with the enormous selection of tools we have available today why would they suddenly be able to create quality content with a far more restrictive tool that holds their hand every step of the way? Using your logic someone might point towards him as an example of a new easy-to-use tool enabling him, but once you read up on the guy you suddenly understand that he was already a competent artist.
